About Us
Berhampore Minority And Community Development Service (BMCDS) is an NGO based in Murshidabad, West Bengal. BMCDS was registered on 31/12/2001 under West Bengal Societies Regd. Act. (1961) wth Registration number S/IL/7171
Our Mission
Our mission is to work alongside the socially and economically excluded groups of people. We want to establish a society in which no one remains hungry, illiterate, unemployed, and exploited.
Our Vision
Organize, educate, and empower the weaker group of the society to promote and develop as a liberating force aimed at social justice, economic growth, and self-reliance.

Community Meetings
BMCDS also organizes communities from time to time where people come together and discuss their common problems with their leaders like pradhan and panchayats directly.
Ambulance Service
BMCDS runs an ambulance in the Murshidabad district supported by the Health and Family Welfare Dept. Govt. of West Bengal. We have been mainly helping pregnant mothers and older people.
Advocacy Program
BMCDS also focuses on advocating for the rights of the children, gender equality and protecting the vulnerable groups from being exploited. Some basic services like cleaning roads and saving water.

Greetings from Berhampore Minority And Community Development Service (BMCDS NGO).
We are working in the rural areas of the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. We started our journey on December 31st, 2001 and from then we are focused on rural development and the empowerment of local people. We are somehow managing to provide a better and sustainable life to the rural youth and women but we need a good amount of funds to fulfill our dreams. I hope that you can be our support and be volunteer members in our organization to take our activities to the next step. I hope we can fulfill our promises and do something extra to provide a healthy and happy life for the poor people of the Berhampore area.

Training Cum Production Centre
During the year 2013 our initial endeavor was to raise awareness regarding the setting up of our corporate office at Dhopghati under Berhampore municipality.
School Service
BMCDS organized a school service program enlisting 72 schools from the different local school communities. These schools are located in Murshidabad, Malda, etc.
Legal AID Service
Our organization also gives legal aids service to the legal help seekers who are not able to provide litigation cases with their fund generally we committed with.
